HURRICANE RELIEF In recent years we have witnessed an alarming increase in extreme weather events across the United States. Most recently, Hurricane Helene brought widespread devastation to several states. In response to a request from the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, as well as our own Bishop Powers, invite you to donate to a special collection the weekend of October 26-27th. This will help provide much needed relief and pastoral support for our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster. If you wish to donate before the weekend of the special collection, donations can be dropped off at the parish office, mailed to the parish, or drop it into the regular collection. Thank you.

CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL: Thank you for filling out a Catholic Services Appeal envelope. For those who did not fill one out, please consider doing so. There are envelopes in the back of church. No gift is too small, and our parish is trying to reach 100% participation. By making your gift you can save a volunteer from having to call you. There are many challenges that face us today, the shortage of priests is one such challenge. Thus far, 65 families have donated. Our assessment this year is $65,299.84. Please join other Catholics from within the 16 counties of our diocese in supporting this very important appeal.
ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY will meet on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH at 1 PM in the Parish Hall and again that evening at 7 PM in the Garden Room. The group will be accepting new items for the Annual Mitten Tree Party. Hostesses for the afternoon will be Amanda Busam and Janet LeBard.
