ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the annual Salad Bar Luncheon, normally held in mid-February has been cancelled. However, the raffle will take place with Fr. Jim drawing the winners on February 4th. Every registered parishioner has received a book of raffle tickets (6 chances for $5). You can return your ticket stubs, along with your $5 to the parish office, dropped in the mail slot or place in the wooden contribution box in the gathering area of the church. More tickets can be obtained by calling Janet at 715-394-4130 or Marilee at 715-399-8252.

ROOF/CROSS REPAIR

Recently it was noted that the cross at the peak of the lower roof of our church was very loose and needed to be re-secured. There were also several shingles that needed replacing. The repairs have been done. There are pictures on our parish website of the project. Thank you for your continuing generosity which helps the parish to fund these repairs in a timely manner.

CATHEDRAL SCHOOL NEWS

We are in need of substitute teachers. A four-year degree is required but the degree does not have to be in education. Contact Melissa in the main office at 715-392-2976 for more information. The Cathedral Home and School Association continues to collect Box Tops for Education. They can be found on several products including food, household items, tableware, office supplies and even bakeware. These can be dropped off at the school office. Thank you!

ST. LAWRENCE SEMINARY HIGH SCHOOL

St. Lawrence Seminary High School in Mt. Calvary, WI. Is currently suggesting a visit for all Catholic young men who have questions and would like more information on the school. Routine is an important element to a young man’s success in school. While academics are the core, co-curriculars, prayer and free time balance out a student’s schedule. Mass is celebrated on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Take a step toward your son’s future by visiting www.stlawrence.edu or call 920-753-7570. The school is located at 301 Church Street, Mt. Calvary, WI. 53057
