BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER Thank you! to everyone who contributed to the recent fundraiser sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Daughters. Our parish raised $1,536.62 for the Lake Superior Life Care Center.
MASS OFFERINGS The Bishops of Wisconsin have increased the amount of an offering for a Mass intention. Beginning July 1, 2024, the offering for a Mass will be $20.00. Please note this as you schedule any Masses at the parish or at a funeral home.
ST. FRANCIS FOOD SHELF INFORMATION Thank you to all those who generously donate to our food shelf. Monetary donations are always very useful. Our social action committee ask that you PLEASE check expiration dates on your items that you donate. We receive some non-perishable items dated 2017, 2018, etc. Those need to be thrown away. Also, currently we have a very large number of canned vegetables so please do not donate those right now. Thank you for ALL your donations to our food shelf!

ROSIE’S EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR CATHEDRAL SCHOOL A scholarship is available for Cathedral School students. This scholarship will be awarded yearly with preference to a St. Francis family who may be experiencing financial hardships, exceptional healthcare costs, or academic needs. Please speak with Fr. Jim if you are interested. Cathedral School has other non-need-based tuition available. Please call the school at 715-392-2976 if you are interested in registering for the 2024-25 school year.
CATHEDRAL SCHOOL REGISTRATION for the 2024-2025 school Year – for Preschool through 8th grade. Cathedral School continues the tradition of 3-year-old and 4-year-old Preschool. Preschool classes are 5 days a week with half-day or full-day options available. Before and after school care is offered through our Extended Care Program. CATHOLIC SCHOOLHOUSE a local homeschool program, is currently registering families. More than an academic co-op, Catholic Schoolhouse is structured meeting weekly for homeschoolers that includes chorus, two hours of classroom instruction, math, science, art projects and opportunities for socializing after class. “Why are you shouting your prayers?” his older brother asked, “God isn’t deaf.”
“No, but Grandma is!” his little brother answered.
